Privacy notice
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and carries no advertising trackers. The only thing that leaves your browser is a contact form you chose to send.
What this website collects
Nothing, until you send something. There is no analytics script on any page of this site, no advertising or social tracking pixel, no embedded map or video that would report your visit to a third party, and no cookie set by us. Every font, stylesheet, script and image is served from this domain.
Like every website, the server keeps an ordinary access log — the time of the request, the page asked for, and the network address it came from. That is how a web server works and how a host notices an attack. It is not linked to you by name and is not used for anything else.
The contact form
The form on the contact page is a managed service provided by our host. When you submit it, the name, email address, telephone number, subject and message you typed are delivered to a mailbox belonging to this business. A single-use token and a captcha protect the form from automated abuse.
What is not retained by the form service: your message is delivered and not stored, and the captcha is solved without our being told anything about you. Once the message reaches the mailbox it is an ordinary email and is kept as long as it is useful for answering you.
We use what you write to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell it, or pass it to anybody else.
Ordering
Orders are taken on the telephone and at the counter. In the ordinary running of a shop like this, a telephone order means writing down a name and, for delivery, an address, on paper that is thrown away at the end of the night. Card payments are processed by the card terminal's own provider and the shop never sees or stores a card number.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to us at pizzaria@bestdealwebdesign.com or to 37-32 61st Street, Woodside, NY 11377. Given how little there is, the answer is usually short.
Changes
If this notice changes, the changed version replaces this one on this page. There is no version history because a site this simple does not warrant one.
This is a demonstration site
Woodside Pizza, LLC is a fictional business built to demonstrate what a restaurant website can look like. No order placed here reaches a kitchen and no telephone number here will reach anybody. The privacy practices described above are real in the sense that the website genuinely behaves this way — there really is no analytics and the contact form really does work as described — but the business receiving the messages is invented.

Telephone the shop and we will tell you honestly how long the kitchen is running before you commit to anything. Collection is always quicker than delivery and the pizza is always better for it. If you are ordering for a crowd, the catering page has the trays and the notice we need.
